Film Festival Locations The Far North Conservation Film Festival will be held at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Schaible Auditorium, the Pioneer Park Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts, and the new Morris Thompson Cultural Center. The Schaible Auditorium is located within the Bunnell Building on the east side of the UAF Campus.The new Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center is located at 101 Dunkel St. in downtown Fairbanks. Fairbanks is a vibrant community located in the heart of Interior Alaska. The "Golden Heart" city serves as a hub for trade and is the gateway to Alaska's Interior and Arctic. Fairbanks has an international airport from which major carriers offer connections to the "lower 48" states.
