The Far North Conservation Film Festival began in 2003 in celebration of National Wildlife Refuge Week. After growing and developing, the festival is in its 6th year of celebrating the diversity and sustainability of wildlife, wild places, and cultures around the world and in the far north! The Far North Conservation Film Festival is a place for filmmakers, local people, and local businesses to support media that matters in promoting global conservation. The 2008 Festival Call for Entries English or English subtitles only. Although films of all lengths are accepted, shorter films may have a higher chance of being screened in the festival.
